My Favorite Eyeliner
You search and search. It can take hours, days, months, maybe even years. At times it seems like you might have found the “one”. Then you look in the mirror, only to suffer crushing disappointment when you see smudging, flaking and most of your liner under your eyes instead of where you applied it. UGH!
Urban Decay 24/7 gel eye liners are my favorite. I have one in almost every color they make, which is over 10 colors. They are a gel base so you don’t have to pull or tug on your eye. They glide smoothly over even the most wrinkled lids in a way that is reminiscent of liquid liner, without the liquid part. The colors are vibrant and versatile. You have 2-3 minutes to blend or smudge as needed. Then they are on and they don’t move until you remove them. Make sure you have a good sharpener. I recommend either Urban’s Grind House or Origins pencil sharpener. You can also use the liner all over your lid for color or as a base for any shadow. Although if you are using it as a base I would still use Urban Decay’s Primer Potion first to be on the safe side. The Primer Potion will keep everything in place.
So the next time you are lining your eye and you are tugging at you skin so that your hard, dry liner can deposit choppy, chunks of drab color erratically on your lids, remember that it could be better. You don’t have to suffer.
