Out & About: You are invited!
For any BeautySolved readers that will be in the Detroit area on Sunday March 8th there is a benefit party that I would like to urge you all to come to.
There is a woman I know that I just think the world of. She is one of those nice people that you know would help you out if she was able. She’s a great friend to many, really fun, and just has a great spirit. She’s one of those people that you just want to hang out with, she has a calming effect that makes you feel all warm and happy…come to think of it… she’s a lot like Irish cream. Anyway, she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. With no family back ground, it pretty much came out of the blue. Fortunately because Mary is so darn likable some of her friends and family are getting together to throw her a party in the hopes of offsetting the costs of her treatment. Cancer is not cheap, and not really a great investment opportunity.
The party is @ Gusoline Alley in Royal Oak MI on 3/8/09. It starts at 2pm and goes till ??? There is a$5.00 minimum donation at the door, but I think you might get a snazzy button as a memento. There is also a silent auction, raffles, and 11 different musical guests. It should be a pretty cool event, so please if you can stop by we’d love to see you.
If you come, I just might give you a mini bar makeover for a donation to Mary. The earlier the better, I cannot be held accountable for make overs that occur after 3 beers.

Darn it, I can’t make it. I would SOOO be up for a party in RO, too. I hope y’all raise lots of money and your friend feels better very soon.
So, what about products to get our feet looking fabby for the summer. I know its early, but I am really looking forward to flip flops and my feet are so gross right now. (Sorry!)
Also, I don’t feel like paying for a pedicure when I can do it at home.
